LVSJK Tanuki zoekt oud beeldmateriaal en verhalen

Dit jaar viert LVSJK Tanuki haar 40e verjaardag. Voor dit lustrumjaar is de Journalcommissie bezig met het samenstellen van een speciale editie over de geschiedenis van de vereniging.

Deze lustrumeditie zal zowel gaan over de afgelopen vijf jaar, als ook de eerdere geschiedenis. Hiervoor zijn ze op zoek naar zoveel mogelijk oud (fysiek) materiaal van, over en voor de vereniging.

Denk bijvoorbeeld aan:

  • Foto’s
  • Filmpjes (ook DVD’s en videobanden!)
  • Verhalen
  • Journals van voor 2005
  • Promotiemateriaal
  • Etc.

Mocht je materiaal hebben dat op oude media (videobanden, DVD’s, floppyschijfjes, enz.) is opgeslagen, dan kunnen zij dat digitaliseren.

Mocht je zelf over materiaal beschikken dat op z’n plaats zou zijn in deze geschiedenisjournal, of heb je misschien interesse om mee te helpen (op welke manier dan ook), neem dan contact op met de Journalcommissie via journal@tanuki.nl.

Donderdag 19 mei: Reünieborrel Tanuki

Ben jij lid (geweest) van de studievereniging LVSJK Tanuki? Kom dan naar de reünieborrel!

Ter ere van haar veertigjarige bestaan en het Lustrum organiseert Tanuki op donderdag 19 mei van 19:00 tot 21:00 een reünieborrel in de Faculty Club (Leiden).

Naast dat dit een ideale gelegenheid is om oud-studiegenoten weer te zien, zullen ook Remco Breuker en Ivo Smits ook een korte voordracht geven.

Part-time Marketing Assistant at Daesang Europe

Daesang Europe is a European office of the worldwide company, Daesang Corporation headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. Since 1956, Daesang has been the industry-leading company in the vast range of Korean food with its iconic brands including Jongga, Chung Jung One and O’Food. Daesang Europe is looking for a part-time Marketing Assistant in the Food Division. The role of Marketing Assistant is to assist the Brand Manager with marketing activities and on/offline business development for our food brands, O’Food, Chung Jung One and Jongga.


Responsibilities

  • Support Brand Manager in organizing and managing various online and offline projects
  • Assist in developing marketing collaterals including promotional contents, product contents and website contents for both B2C and B2B levels.
  • Assist in developing packaging designs in line with our brand identities
  • Grow and manage the company’s Linkedin Page to reach potential B2B stakeholders and promote business developments and activities
  • Conduct market research and analyze market trends and marketing activities for opportunities

Selection criteria

  • MA in teaching Korean as a second/foreign language or equivalent;
  • Experience in teaching various levels and skills of Korean to speakers of other languages at university level;
  • An excellent command of English. The MA program in Asian Studies and the BA program in International Studies are offered in English. English (or Dutch) will be used for some courses (especially translation of academic/professional texts) in the BA program in Korean Studies as well;
  • Native (or near native) proficiency in Korean;
  • Commitment to and expertise in multi-media, multi-mode, and digital teaching experience;
  • Experience/interest in team teaching and peer mentoring. The candidate is expected to be a team player;
  • Experience in organizing or coordinating language courses, special programs, and events.

Terms and conditions

We offer a fixed-term post from 1 August 2021 until 31 July 2025. Salary range from € 2,790.- to € 4,402.- gross per month (pay scale 10), in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities).

Beroependag LVSJK Tanuki

Op vrijdag 5 februari 2021 organiseert de studievereniging voor Japan- en Koreastudies een online beroependag. Tijdens dit evenement worden alumni Japanologie en Koreanistiek uitgenodigd om voor huidige studenten te spreken over hun baan en carrière.

Het Tanukibestuur heeft ons gevraagd of er wellicht alumni zijn die bereid zijn kort over hun werk te spreken. Het gaat om een presentatie van circa 15 tot 20 minuten via Microsoft Teams. Na afloop van iedere presentatie krijgen studenten dan de mogelijkheid om vragen te stellen.

Een goede voorbereiding is het halve werk
Hoe maak je een goed CV en je een LinkedIn profiel nodig? Waar moet je op letten als je solliciteert bij een Koreaans bedrijf?

Wat je écht moet weten over de arbeidsmarkt
De andere helft van het werk. De arbeidsmarkt toetreden kan erg overweldigend zijn, vooral als je pas net bent afgestudeerd. In deze presentatie wordt er kort verteld over je positie op de arbeidsmarkt, arbeidsvoorwaarden en salarisonderhandelingen.

Afsluitende borrel
Aan het einde van de middag sluiten we (traditiegetrouw) af met een borrel. Praat nog even na met alumni en (oud-)studiegenoten in het Pakhuis.
